Projects

Efficiently Optimal

Exhibitions, Conferences, Product Launches - How do you showcase the latest and the greatest in the most effective ways possible? These projects are not your average touch and go. Months of work went into each; from curating content to present and show, to how to create medium that encourage maximum participant engagement, and follow up to see what can be done better next time.

All these projects were led/co-led by me.

This project has faced multitude of challenges since its initiation in 2019, mainly due to the recent global COVID-19 pandemic which results in many internal budget restrictions as well as the event itself being postponed from 2020 to 2021.

Through perseverance, I led the project through the changing parameters (from budget to staff) to meet the demand of the company without compromising the main objective, which is to showcase the future of mining that is smaller, smarter, and more sustainable, as well as drive short-term growth through sales.

The exhibition will now take place 13-15 September 2021 in Las Vegas, USA.

This conference was held in October 2019, and focuses on technological and strategy discussion between key mining players in the Americas.

The aim of this conference was to sell the future technology. I led the project, working with R&D and sales to showcase company’s latest future prototype, as well as talking about the most important commodity of all: trust.

The project was met with success in raising brand awareness, as well as driving sales in the LATAM region.

This largest machinery fair in Europe took place in April 2019. Imagine a trade fair, add beer, and you got BAUMA.

As mining project manager, I worked cross-functionally with different departments to showcase the company as a whole, but meanwhile meeting the objectives of the mining department, which is to drive growth, sales, and secure partnership for future technologies.

This annual conference in Helsinki is where I got my start as a project manager. After half a year of hard work (and assisting in MINExpo 2016), I was trusted enough to fly solo on the 2017 conference. The rest is history.

From working on the content of the presentation, to organising and designing the stand, up to overseeing all the aspect of this project, it was met with a huge success that we were asked to return in 2018.

The launch of the Heavy Tipper in Brazil in 2017 also marks an important milestones as this was the first launch project that I co-led. In charged of all things related to the showcase of data and connected services, I worked cross-functionally with several department in Sweden and Brazil in order to integrate the value of real-time data into the hands-on experience of the launch.

Another integral part of the project that I was involved in was the pre-launch media campaign as well as post-launch follow up in order to measure the outcome of the events.
